Before you enquire
Measure the room, then the table.
Approximate measurements are enough to start. A photo of the space helps too.
- Mark the proposed length and width on the floor with masking tape. Check the route around the table and the space needed to open nearby doors.
- Pull your chairs out as if someone were getting up. Include their width and seat height in your enquiry, especially if you are keeping an existing set.
- Check access to the room, including doorways, stairs and tight turns. Send approximate dimensions and a room photo if you would like help with the proportions.

Can you make a table to a particular size?
Yes. Start with your preferred length, width and height, or the space available. We’ll discuss the design and practical details before agreeing the measurements.
What affects the price of a custom table?
Dimensions, timber, construction and finish all affect the quote. Include a reference image, your location and any preferred date so the quote can cover the piece you have in mind.
Can I commission a coffee table?
Yes. Describe how you’ll use it and the space around your seating. For a coffee table, the height of your sofa and the room needed to walk around it are useful starting points.
Can I add a matching bench?
Yes. Include the number of benches and whether you want them to slide beneath the table. We’ll work through the set’s dimensions together.
Do you cover my area, and when can it be ready?
Galanta covers Belfast and across Northern Ireland. Share your town or postcode and preferred date. Timing, collection or delivery arrangements are discussed with your quote.
